Biology Dictionary is an online biology reference site providing definitions and explanations of common biology terms. It aims to help school and college students, as well as teachers and professors to have a better understanding on the terminologies they are looking for. The site covers all major branches of biology, including but not limited to ecology, botany, zoology, human biology, molecular biology, microbiology, genetics, cell biology, biochemistry, neuroscience, anatomy and physiology.
About Our Scholarship Program
We are starting a scholarship program known as “Biology Dictionary Scholarship”. We hope to help and award the hardworking students who share the similar passion with us, no matter what major you are in. If you believe you have what it takes to get this scholarship award, you are most welcome to give it a try. In this scholarship program we are offering a scholarship of $1000.
To apply for the scholarship, please submit your essay that fall into one of the three topics below:
- Why study biology and choose it as your career?
- Which branches of biology you would recommend, and why?
- What is the future of biology?
You don’t have to use the exactly same topic, but your essay should be closely related to them.
This scholarship is aimed at helping students afford the rising cost of education and help them along the road to better future. The scholarship will be made payable directly to the university/school that the winners belong to.
Any current college going student currently enrolled in any educational program is eligible to apply. Student must be enrolled at an accredited college, university or trade school. All students from all countries are welcome. A Minimum GPA of 2.5 is required to apply for this program.
You must submit a well written article on any topic related to our site or of your choice to our email id [email protected] latest by scholarship deadline.
The deadline for our scholarship is May 15, 2018 and winner shall be declared in May 2018 which shall be published on this site. Winner will also be contact separately via their college email id.
